In the Google Drive backup interface you can manually backup and restore data, migrate data to a different user, download it to a local device, view your files, and use the advanced search bar to search for specific files.
Versioning allows you to restore data accurately in the same folder hierarchy to a specific date, and find lost data in the Lost & Found section.
